Wow, I´m amazed..

Some days ago, I drove thorugh the place where David and I got married. All this spring, summer and now autoumn, I´ve been thinking that I want to photgraph my children right there, -but I haven´t done it.
But this day, I sent a sms to my friend [link] and asked if we should take a day out there, just in cause of photographing our FIVE children. And so we did.

It was so fun. Of course it´s difficult to capture five children the way you might have planned out, but we did get som photos. Of course I had to forget to use the Fnumber the way I wanted to, so every photo got more DOF that I like.. But it was fun!

I´ve been longing to submit some of the portraits I´ve taken of other children through the years, but I haven´t done it because I always felt that it´s important to ask the parents if its okey first. And I guess THAT was difficult for me. But now I pushed myself, and asked some of them, so I hope to add some more to my portraits album in the future.

Another thing I did, was to add a message in my facebook profile. I asked if there were any parents that would like to get their children photographed for free, just so that I could get the experience and fun of it, and might add a picture to my gallery. -And I got so many responses!! So now I got THREE photoshoots only this week! Yeeeyyhh I´m so happy! And a bit scared. Cause I dont have the equipment that I´m dreaming of. But I´ll do my best anyways.

I kinda regret that I didn´t say that I want just a little money... Then I could at least SAVE for the equipment I´m longing for... But hey, maybe later...

I´m going on a fotoshoot tomorrow, and the parents has agreed on me submitting some of the photos.. Hope for good results!

Anyways, I´ve noticed that it´s more easy to get comments and fave´s on macrophotos of flowers. Maybe because childrensportraits are more "private"? Maybe people feel that they have to know the faces, to like them? What do you think?

So now I did it.

I´ve deleted lots of old photos, simply because I didn´t fancy them anymore. I moved on, and I think that I have gotten alot better! (yeyh!!)

I also arranged every photo in different albums. I had albums from before, but I didn´t think that all the photos were placed in the right ones. So I made more albums, with texts added, and also sorted from newest to elder (glad to find that option).

It was fun to do this! I discovered somethings about myself:

- I moved on! I´m alot BETTER!
- I seem to like macro, and portraits the most.
- I love colours.



Now I just have to get out and capture some new photos!!

I never thought that I would come to the day when I started to edit my photos, but now I´m obsessed with the new thing that Healzo learned me!

In SOME of my photos, I have started to adjust the levels. In i LOVE the result, cause from beeing flat photos with dead colours, the pictures seems to become ALIVE! Some of those photos I took this summer was so blaze (BLASS) and flat, but the got totally rescued when I adjusted the levels.

But I wonder, -is it "okey" to do those edits in photoshop? Will you think that it is to fake a photo? Or do you think its okey?
normally, I DONT edit my pictures, -I only add a frame and my name on it. But now I´m in love with this possibility, and I´m almost afraid that I will use it alot...

This summer have been, and still is, so great! As you can see in my gallery, I have seen and captured alot of great photos, and I am really really happy and proud of them all

I´ve learned that I don´t need my dreamcamera (VERY expensive one....) to capture great photos, and that was an important thing for me to realize. So now, I´ll keep on finding great motives, and hopefully never get empty of them..

Me vecation is still not over, hope to see some more..

Writing in this journal, havent exactly been the first thing on my mind lately. And so hasnt submitting photos either. But today I feel like adding some pics, just some that I found on my computer for now. Later on, when I feel like it, I'll add some new stuff, that I hope you'll like!
